Justice Linda Lillian Tumusiime Mugisha Opens Industrial Court Arua Sub-Registry

The Hon. Lady Justice Linda Lillian Tumusiime Mugisha, Head Judge of the Industrial Court, officially opened the Industrial Court Arua Sub-Registry on 4th June 2025. This development marks a significant step towards decentralizing Industrial Court services.

The opening ceremony was preceded by a Court Users’ Meeting held at the Arua High Court, which brought together key stakeholders. The meeting focused on discussing collaborative ways to improve service delivery in labour justice within the West Nile region.

The Industrial Court Arua Sub-Registry aims to provide easier access to Industrial Court services for residents of the area, reducing the need for long-distance travel and enhancing the efficiency of labour dispute resolution.
