On the 26th of July 2024, a group of 40 participants from UMA visited the Industrial Court Headquarters Ntinda, to acquaint themselves with how the Industrial Court works. They were led by Mr. Kyalimpa Joseph, Training Manager UMA.

The members were received by Mr. Ogang Benard Gerad, who took them through the mandate of the Industrial Court which is to adjudicate Labour disputes.

He took them through the different case categories handled by the Industrial Court and these included; Labour Dispute References, Labour Dispute Appeals, MA, and LDC.
He elaborated the different stages of cases right from filing up to when judgment/Award is delivered.
